Recycling Ninja

The weekend is over and school is back in session, even though my brain is not with me this morning, or any other morning as the matter of fact, but that's not the big issue at the moment. Well, there is really no 'big issue' at all, I just can't figure out some things to do on the flash. Some of my friends have helped me with a few of the things, but not all of them, so things are a little up and down, side to side confusion.

Anyways, we haven't really been working on our flash lately because Mrs. Neal decided to let us work on a filming project to make a mini-movie. My group has determined that our video will be about recycle with a touch of ninja, subtitles, crazy fighting music, fight scenes, and a few public service announcements. I hope it turns out alright, even if we doin't have the mustache and the top hat, but I will live even if we don't have those two things.

Everything and Nothing At All.

Well, it's been awhile since I think anyone has updated their blogs, so here is a class update.

1. Mrs. Neal has posted all of our paper prototypes onto Viddler.com

2. Mrs. Neal was gone for a few days and the internet was down so we are sorta behind but not much.

3. We did a group discussion and talked about how we all can make our games better.

4. Now we are back to business.

Yeah, it's not the best update in the world, but it just about the most simple one I could do. Hehe. Anyways, Mrs. Neal has also informed us that Mr. Auvil (our principal at GWHS) is going to the Governors Mansion for the Globaloria meeting. Well, I guess it's the Governors Mansion, I know it's somewhere AWESOME!!!

Zombie Day

So I am having a little trouble with the motion Tweening and its making me alittle crazy. I watched a video on the Abode help site but they were confusing me. I will probably try harder and figure it out. BUT AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! It's driving me insane. It's like it doesn't want to work. Anyways, Laura computer is a stupid face and keeps dying on her so she is angry at it. But I think we are moving right along. So yeah. Oh and yesterday I became a zombie so thats why its a Zombie day. Well, that is all. Later Dayz!!!

Okay...My Bad.

Okay maybe I lied about being at school the next day, but my mother kept me home because she thought I was still sick. Oh well.

In class today, we watched a video chat thing about the Flash Program, which I believed help me alot since I hadn't been at school to understand the Flash Program. But oh well. Ummm...yeah thats about it for today since we really didn't do anything.

So today I wasn't at school, but I am not feeling the greatest at the moment. However, I am better and I will be at school first thing in the morning!!! Yay!!! But on a serious note. There is alot that still needs to be done. Laura and I need to film our prototype and then we need to add some things to it, but I am confident in my partner that she can hold down the fort while I am not there. I apologize for missing alot of school this year, but it has been pretty crazy around here lately.

Anywho.

Ummm, I haven't had the chance to play with the Flash program as much I would like too; so tomorrow that will be what I am going to do. I need to get my head in the game and get caught up, which I can I do was ease. Also, from watching Laura mess with the Flash Program during class it doesn't seem that it will be that hard to operate. Well I think that is it for now. Until next time I wish you...

Captain's Log: Flash and What-not

Well, unlike yesterday I am here at school; my voice is a little quite and my nose is stuffy, but I am here anyways. So today I have found out from, my lovely partner ,Laura, that the class worked on flash yesterday, a learning trail I guess. Today I will be looking over the flash, I guess its a teach myself sorta deal today, because Mrs. Neal is not here, Allie, Savanna, Sarah, Whisman, and John are gone as well, that's like the half the class. It's not fun at all!!! No one is talking, we are just staring at the computer screens like robots. But back to the topic at hand, Flash Program, I believe after today I will be able to know how to work it. Hopefully. Well I guess that's it for the day. I hope whoever is reading this has a lovely weekend.

Tobacco Sniper.

Usually, Tobacce Sniper wouldn't be something you would talk about during school. The word 'tobacco' is a sin and 'sniper' just not said in school. But our game I believe will work out in the long run. Especially since the paper prototype came out pretty good, and I think everyone will understand how the game works. So I am extremely happy with what game we decided to use. Sure, our other game ideas were okay, but this one I believe we hit the jackpot!!! Woo!!! Okay well, time has run out for today so that is all.

Today we received our laptops, a wonderful treat indeed, but that is not todays mission. The mission is to continue with the list. Sure, I know that we probably should be finished with the gaming idea list, but coming up with new gaming ideas is hard. So far we have two, both games are for the Environment, however we still need more for the three other subject.

• Education
• Health

I thought it would be pretty easy, but since Mrs. Neal wants us to pick things that deal with stuff around here, it have become complicated. Still I know we can do it though. Maybe. Hopefully.

It has become my worse emeny. As I try to add to it, I realize that maybe I am growing every impatient. The fact that I accidently chick on a link on another page will get ride of the page I was using before, even after I have typed what I wanted. It's annoying; however, I will live.

Today, I came in late so I am not exactly sure on what I am suppose to be doing. I know I need to type a blog, which I am, and that I need to make a bigger gaming list of ideas, but its Monday and no one is ready to think about game design this early (9:06am).

Anyways, Laura and I are trying to finish up some of our other work (such as the Project Page) so I believe that I am done typing for the day.

Captain's Log 3: Game List Ideas

As we, the Computer Assisted Art class, continues this journey, our leader Mrs. Neal has asked us to form in groups of two so we can begin the game creating process. Laura and I have decided to parnter up and create a game that deals with Environment issues. Choices for this topic, will be simple to find; however, I believe we will be picking something that shows how the human race is killing the world with each passing day, we may even choose something about the rainforest. Not quite sure yet, but whatever it is I know its gonna rock everyones socks!!! Hehe.

Anyways, today the class is creating their gaming list ideas, and are posting them on Wiki. So yeah.

When I signed up for Computer Assisted Art, I thought we would only be filming and not making an online game, so I am pretty excited. To have a game that I have made on the internet is a pretty awesome thing. Anyways, yesterday we went on a journey to Rainelle Elementary to interview some kids about the school bond that is going on. Anywho, today we are watching a video tutorial about paper prototyping.
