Well, I figured I would tell you all good luck and have fun with your new class. You will enjoy it! I miss it already haha.
Anyways, I also thought that since I have taken the class already, and if you are confused about anything, you could write me on the wiki page and I shall try to help you.
Anyways, have fun and keep Mrs. Neal and Mrs. Leaf on their toes!!!
Later Days!!!

Coming Together, Sharing Together, Working Together, Succeeding Together.
It's the end of the year and wow what a ride this has been!!!
Today we finally had our Web-X Conference with the Globaloria Office in New York and it was so much simpler than I thought it would be. I will admit I was EXTREMELY nervous going into it, but after I began I realized "Hey No need to be flipping out." So I smiled and began to tell them my funny story of the year. Going through two teams and creating a game within the last four weeks(one month) was a stressful thing, but I pulled through it and lived.
I will miss the program, but I might sneak back to the school during the next school year, if Mrs. Neal lets me, and learn more about the flash program. I wish I would've had another year with Globaloria, but sadly it is my senior year and I am leaving GWHS *insert sad face here!!!!*
Ha ha, anyways I truly hope that next years class cherishes the experiences they are about to learn, just as I will. I have learned to be more demanding about what I want and I have gained a lot of patients and skill that I didn't have at the beginning of the year. I mean who would have thought I could make a game with just a mouse pad and a couple of codes. I, for sure, didn't!!!
But I am glad how my game turned out, even though there is a button that is not working, (note to self: must fix that Friday) other than that I am glad how the entire year turned out. Sure, there were times when everyone wanted to quit and not look at flash ever again, but I think we had a little bit of a parental outlook on our games. They are our babies. They were not there in the beginning, then *BAM* there they are. Little simple games that want to be made into wonderful complicated games!!! He he.
So I guess since I started this blog as a Captain's Log I might as well end it like a Captain's Log.
Captain's Last Log

We have reached the end of our journey, some of us will stay behind and maybe continue working with the Globaloria team, while others move on and not look back. I, for one, would like to stay with our commander, Mrs. Neal, and maybe help with next years team as well. But if that's not possible, I will stay in touch and visit anyways. This has been on long crazy journey and I will always enjoy the memories I have gained from it all and the "Life Lessons" (I hope that gave you chill bumps ha ha).
Well, this Captain's Log is now at an end.

- To those of you, I have meet from Globaloria, I wish you all the best and hope that you will continue on with this project. ^_^
- To Ms. Harden, thank you for helping with our big presentation and when our computer would go stupid on us. ^_^
- To Mr. Auvil, thank you for allowing us to have this program in our school! ^_^
- To my peers and friends, who fought through the world of flash with me, I thank you for all the support and awesomeness you all are!
- And Finally to the woman who taught us we can do whatever we put our minds to, Mrs. Neal. You pushed us to our limits and when we were in a chaos mess, you held us together by giving us words of encouragement and telling us goofy jokes to lighten the mood when everyone would be going crazy with action script. I, personal, am glad you had the opportunity to teach this to us. I don't think they could have chosen a better teacher for the job. You were tough when you needed to be and you were gently when it was called for. I don't think any of us would have even made it through the first semester if it wasn't for your drive and desire to have do our best. I will miss you....unless I come back to visit!!! Thank you once again.
Well, this Captain's Log is now at an end.

Swedish Fish and Flash ^_^
There is nothing in common with Swedish Fish and the Flash Program. One you can eat the other you can not; however, unless you name a Swedish Fish, Flash, then maybe you can eat it, but I really doubt that. Anyways, it's been alittle more than a month since my last post so I thought I would update and give you the "411", haha.
Update:
1.) Maitreyi and Shannon visited us at the beginning April to give
us advice and help us with our ideas and what not.
2.) A lot of people have not been here, so some teams are behind and some teams are not. My team are not so far behind, but I have no clue what is going on. My partners don't really talk to me that much, so I'm alittle iffy, on what in the world is going on.
3.) We now have Skype on our laptops, Shannon and Maitreyi, told us to download it, and sadly, I didn't have internet for about a week so I couldn't, but thankfully, Mrs. Harden fixed it and now I'm back in business, ^_^.
4.) Mrs. Neal was gone for the last two weeks, she had a personal reason to be gone, so it's okay. We all forgive her.
So that is the quick update on what has been going on, and what is happening in our little world of Globaloria.
Anyways, I hope everyone had a good Spring Break!!!
Well Later Dayz.

Three Months And Counting
It is March 4th, 2009 and there are some of things that have happened since the last post. The Team Crazy Apples is no longer together. After a depressing and unmotivational leave of my parnter; Mrs. Neal came up with the idea to combine two teams. Team Crazy Apples and Team Alivan. I was alittle nervous about the whole thing at first and I believe the other two were also; however, after discussing and brainstorming, we made it work. I am very excited to be apart of a new team and have new and, maybe even better ideas then before. Also, there has been many snow days and 2-hour delays so that means we are behind just a little, but we are not so behind that we won't finish. Hopefully by next week we will have what we want completed. Well, that's about it, I just don't know what else to talk about.
Later Times,

The New Year 2009!!!

Christmas break is over and 2009 is beginnning!!!
Well, Team Crazy Apples is back and ready is start back up on our game.
But I am having a little trouble with drawing the characters, I think we want the people to look to people-ish, so we might just go with making them intostick people, maybe even chibi's if thats what it will take to finish the first level. ^_^ Other than that I am having a probably with the button making.
It's really confusing.
Another classmate tried to show me how to do it, but he talked really fast as he tried to explain it and then something else went wrong with the page I was working on, but I think I have fixed that problem.
But I am excited to be back at school and not sick anymore. Hehe. Well, I believe that is all for now.
So Later Days
Rissa
